Rudolph, Frosty, Santa, and more team up for this holiday film extravaganza! – Float or swim, enjoy the films, and compete in fun games and activities for holiday prizes!

Saturday, Dec. 3

Reindeer Dash 5k for Food – 8 a.m. check-in; 8:30 a.m. run start 
Participate in our third annual Reindeer Dash to raise money and food for Storehouse and the Maple Valley Food Bank. Registration is $5 or 5 non-perishable food items! Pre-registration is not required. All you need to do is show up and have a fun run! Goody bags and reindeer antlers for the first 100 participants! Sponsored by the Kent Firefighters Foundation with support from the East Hill Jr. Grange. Check-in will be located in the Valley Medical Center North Clinic parking lot, by city hall. Pancake Breakfast AND SANTA PHOTOS in the City Hall Community Room – 9 a.m.-noon
Get your fill of pancakes and your photos with Santa at the annual Hollydaze Pancake Breakfast. The pancake breakfast is free. A donation of food or cash to area food banks is appreciated.

Craft Bazaar at Jenkins Creek Elementary School – 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Community Tree Lighting Ceremony - Festivities begin at 4 p.m.; Tree Lighting is at 5 p.m.; Santa arrives at 5:30 p.m.
Gather with friends and family at the Don Henning Roundabout (by Pier 1 Imports) for the City of Covington’s annual tree lighting event. Participate in singing, sipping cocoa, listening to holiday music, seeing Santa ride in on the firetruck and viewing the tree lighting. Come early or stay late and shop or dine at nearby stores and restaurants. Kids can participate in a make-and-take crafts like ornaments, sugar cookie decorating and marshmallow dipping! Free caroling guides with coupons to local businesses will be handed out at the event.
